Cole Hamels DFS Outlook – April 9: Solid Versus Angels

Cole Hamels DFS outlook for this coming Saturday April 9 versus the LA Angels is good as he has pitched well against the opposing top batters.

Yunel Escobar for example is just .172 vs. Hamels.

The left-hander gave up two solo homeruns in the season opener to Robinson Cano and Kyle Seager.  This was more homeruns given up to left-handed batters than the entirety of the 2015 season.

Those were the only two scores Hamels allowed in the win to Seattle.  He struck out eight and walked three in that victory.

He’ll be priced around $10.6K coming into Saturday’s game.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
