The Colorado Rockies odds to win the 2011 World Series currently pay 17/1 odds at SBG Global after starting off the new season 8-2 and leading the National League West.

The Rockies are off to their best start in franchise history following a 5-4 win against the New York Mets Wednesday night.

"Last year we weren't very good in one-run games and we've won a couple this year," Colorado’s Troy Tulowitzki said. "We're a good team. We believe that. We feel like at least so far that even when we're down we are going to find a way to win."

Elsewhere, the American League East remains tight with the New York Yankees gaining a one game advantage along with the Baltimore Orioles tied for first place.  The Yankees would still pay nice with a 2011 World Series win at 5/1 odds.

Cleveland is holding onto the top spot in the Central Division, though their odds of winning the World Series this year have been slashed from 100/1 to 80/1.

Texas holds a two-game lead in the West with 6/1 odds.

Philadelphia maintains a two-game lead in the NL East and is the +220 favorite to win the 2011 World Series with a potential payout of $22 on every $10 bet or $220 on every $100 bet.

Cincinnati comes in with a 1.5-game lead in the NL Central Division.  They would pay out $8000 on a $100 bet to win this year’s World Series
