Mariners

Seattle faces off against the Athletics in Oakland.

Bryan Woo was starting for the Mariners with his 2-0 record and his 1.30 ERA.

Woo pitched well in his last two starts before heading off to the injury list but did not factor into the decision.

Both Woo and JP Sears with his 4.01 ERA have each pitched well against their opposing rosters.

Seattle has gone 7-2 over the last nine meetings in this series.

Twins @ Yankees

"Both pitchers are due for some form of regression to the mean as Lopez has a FIP ERA of 3.80, just over a run lower than his actual number. Meanwhile, Stroman’s FIP ERA is 4.43, 1.7 runs HIGHER than his actual mark this season. Lopez does his best but the Yankees' power is too much to contain, especially in the House that Ruth Built." - Winners and Whiners

Yankees

The New York Yankees host the Minnesota Twins as a -152 favorite.

Pablo Lopez has been hit pretty hard by this Yankees lineup (.323).

Lopez pitched seven innings of one-run ball Friday as the Twins downed the Astros 6-1.

Giancarlos Stanton is 4-for-6 against him so the odds are pretty good he'll have a hit or two here.

Juan Soto is 10 for 30 against Lopez with three home runs.

In 116 at bats, the Twins only have three homers against Marcus Stroman.

Stroman gave up two runs over 7 2/3 innings to get a win Friday over the Giants.  He had a win previous.
