Gray Not Great Against Nationals Batters But Gore is Abysmal
-
Cardinals batters have managed to hit off of Mackenzie Gore greater than half the time in 33 at bats.

The Rangers entered their series against the Blue Jays 7-1 in the last eight meetings.
Nationals @ Cardinals (Friday)
Mackenzie Gore has been horrid versus the Cardinals batters in 33 at bats. Sure it's a small sampling but they've managed to hit off of him greater than half of their appearances.
Willson Contreras is 4-for-7 with two RBIs going up against Gore.
Brendan Donovan is 3-for-5 with one RBI.
Gore allowed three runs in two innings and got a no-decision in the Nationals’ 5-4 victory over the Reds on Saturday.
Sonny Gray had mixed results in Saturday’s victory over the Braves, surrendering five runs on eight hits over seven innings of work.
Six of the last seven games in this series have gone Over the total but betting the Over scares us a bit since the number has come down off the 8 to 7.5.
Rangers @ Blue Jays (Saturday)
As noted previously, the Rangers have played well against the Blue Jays of late. Coming into this series, the Rangers were 7-1 in the last eight games versus Toronto.
Texas Rangers career statistics vs. Kevin Gausman are 30 for 104 or .288 with five home runs and 15 RBI's.
Corey Seager is 10 for 21 or .476 with five RBI's against Gausman.
Gausman allowed four runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings on Sunday and continued his struggles. Not the most attractive game.
How to Be a Baseball BookieJust think about it, on average there are 162 regular MLB game per season. If a gambler bets $100 on one team per season with a 10% vig, you can earn $1,620 from them. Multiply that by the number of friends you have that follow baseball and it can become quite high. |
Guardians @ Phillies (Saturday)
Philadelphia Phillies career statistics vs. Carlos Carrasco are 33 in 129 at bats with 9 RBIs and just two home runs. Bryce Harper has 4 hits in 13 at bats with one RBI while Alex Bohm is 3 for 5.
Carrasco was torched for six runs over 5 1/3 innings on Monday in a loss to the Tigers. He has not had a win over his last five starts.
Tyler Phillips is 2-0 with a 2.81 ERA for Philadelphia. Phillips scattered four hits and didn’t allow a run across six innings on Sunday against the Pirates. He struck out three, walked one, and earned the win.
