Padres Winning a Lot of Games of Late

The Padres have won six of their last nine games against the Dodgers.  San Diego has won 7 of their last 8 games overall.

The current Padres are only 7-for-52 with two doubles and a home run against Tyler Glasnow. The current Dodgers, at least the healthy ones, have just one hit in 25 at-bats versus Matt Waldron.  And the Dodgers aren't exactly healthy coming into this game.

Both teams have hit the righties well since the All-Star break (Dodgers 138 wRC+, Padres 126 wRC+).

Because the bullpens haven't been great, we'd avoid betting on the Under here. The last four games Glasnow has started in have gone Over the total. Four of the last five in this series has stayed Under 7.5.

White Sox Lose 15th Straight

It seemed like Chicago might be able to pull this one off, but alas we get to the 8th inning and the White Sox pitching managed to give up that 5-2 lead.

It would have been a tough pill to swallow NOT jumping on the Royals to beat Chicago all things considered, and we indeed opted to bet against the White Sox and sweated much of this game out.  It's true a number of G911 Sports Hub handicappers dared to back Chicago here.  What were they thinking?

Bobby Witt Jr.'s grand slam — and fourth hit of the game — capped Kansas City's six-run, eighth inning rally and the Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 8-5 on Monday night.

Witt lofted the first pitch he saw from John Brebbia, a low slider, into the left-center stands for 19th homer and third career grand slam. Witt also singled twice and doubled as the Royals handed the major league worst White Sox a franchise-record 15th straight loss.

Witt extended his hitting streak to 11 games. The 24-year-old All-Star shortstop is batting .545 (24 for 44) during the surge.

“I'm just trying to be ready for every pitch because you never know what your going to get in the big leagues,” Witt said. “These pitchers are good so you just want to be prepared.”

And the rest is history Folks.

Today's top cappers are backing Kansas City early.

Evan Lewis is among them and he's 8-2 with his last ten picks.

The price tag is a little too hefty for us at -200.

Did you know that over this 15-game stretch, you could have gotten the White Sox opposition at under -180 in ten of those games?
