The Chicago Cubs are the baseball version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
We aren’t even in June yet and they have already had two 10-game winning streaks and one 10-game losing streak.
Only one team has done that since the expansion era (1961) and that is the 2017 Los Angeles Dodgers. On a positive note, that Dodgers team did make it to the World Series.
After being in first place for the majority of the season, the Cubbies now find themselves in last place in the NL Central, where every team is over .500.
Despite currently being in last place, the Cubs still have the second-best odds at BetOnline.ag to win the NL Central.
AL East: Yankees remain the favorite. Rays from last to second
AL Central: Tigers were favorite. Guardians from third to first. White Sox from last to second. Royals from second to last.
AL West: Mariners remain favorite. Astros from second to fourth.
NL East: Phillies and Braves flipped as did Marlins and Nats.
NL Central: Cubs and Brewers flipped as did Reds and Pirates
NL West: Everything remains the same except the Giants and D’Backs switched places.
