The Houston Astros were seeing around 65% of the action in their game against the New York Yankees on Thursday with oddsmakers moving the line from -137 to -125 in direction conflict with the actual betting patterns.
These initial observations have me liking the Yankees.
Both clubs have 20 wins apiece and have been stellar thus far this season.
While the Yankees won the last two meetings in this series on the road, the home team had won the eight previous.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Masahiro Tanaka (4-2, 4.37 ERA) vs. Astros RH Lance McCullers Jr. (4-1, 3.71)
Tanaka appears to have recovered from a rough stretch in mid-April as he has allowed two runs and five hits over 12 2/3 innings in his last two starts - both victories. His 0-2 record against Houston with a 10.38 ERA in four starts has propelled the betting public to back the Astros.
McCullers has been sensational since being tagged for eight runs on seven hits and six walks in 3 2/3 innings at Minnesota on April 11, allowing two runs and two walks with 21 strikeouts over 20 frames in his last three starts. The Astros are 0-5 in McCuller's Jr.s last 5 starts vs. American League East.
