The Marlins vs. Mets series betting line for Saturday had Florida at +118 and New York -128.  The total is set at 7.5.

Pitching Matchup: Tom Koehler (3-3) vs. Jonathon Niese (3-5)

Niese surrendered eight runs on 11 hits in Tuesday's loss to St. Louis. (Tue May 19) then followed that up with another abysmal performance versus Pittsburgh in which Niese could not get beyond the 4th inning.

He’s been decimated by a few of the current Marlins players including Giancarlo Stanton.  Fortunately Stanton’s been struggling of late.  But he is 11-for-27 against Niese with 7 RBIs so this could be his lucky day.

Jeff Baker has gone 8-for-20 against Niese.  He’s has just over an .300 ERA.

Dee Gordon has hit in seven consecutive games and is 3-for-4 against Niese.

Marcell Uzuna has also enjoyed success against Niese.  He has gone 4-for-10 against the Mets starter with two RBIs.
