Astros @ Reds

This may be a tempting series to back Houston as the Astros continue to play well, but the Reds are actually winners of the last eight in this series.  Sure it's dating back to 2016 but Houston has been solid much of that time.  Thursday's game was already in progress as this went to publication.

Diamondbacks @ Giants

Arizona has played San Francisco well of late, taking six of the last eight games.  The Diamondbacks are playing better than San Francisco overall and consistently remain within our MLB Daily Rankings Top 10.

In 100 appearances, Merrill Kelly has only allowed 14 RBIs, 7 of which were home runs, against the Giants lineup.

Mike Yastrzemski and LaMonte Wade Jr. have contributed greater than half of the RBIs.  Take them out of the equation and Kelly has been solid as they come.

Kelly allowed four earned runs — six total — in 5 1/3 innings, but he didn’t factor into the decision against the Dodgers on Saturday.  He had a win in his prior start.

All this being said, Arizona Diamondbacks career statistics vs. Blake Snell are just .155.

We'd take the UNDER 7 here if not for the fact that most of the recent games in this series have gone well OVER that number, including the last five in San Francisco.
