MLB Commish: 'Confident We Will Have a Season'
Appearing on CNN Thursday night, Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred says he is confident the season will get underway, most likely the first half of July.

And if there is not a season?
"The losses for the owners could approach $4 billion," Manfred revealed.
Manfred believes player pay issues will ultimately be resolved. He also noted that there are contingencies in place should a particular market be hit especially hard by the pandemic during the season.

There would have to be adequate testing of each player a few times per week. Should an individual test positive, a 14-day quarantine of anyone who had contact with that player will not be necessary.
