Here are your Gambling911.com Daily MLB Power Rankings for Sunday September 1, 2024:

  1. Atlanta Braves
  2. Arizona Diamondbacks
  3. Los Angeles Dodgers
  4. Detroit Tigers
  5. Milwaukee Brewers
  6. Chicago Cubs
  7. San Diego Padres
  8. New York Yankees
  9. Minnesota Twins
  10. Philadelphia Phillies
  11. New York Mets
  12. Houston Astros
  13. Kansas City Royals
  14. Baltimore Orioles

For the first time in a long time, the Kansas City Royals and Baltimore Orioles are in danger of dropping from the ratings as they've been winning just 40% of their most recent games this past week.

Brewers @ Reds

While it's a relatively small sampling, Cincinnati Reds career statistics vs. Tobias Myers are just four hits in 25-at-bats. Myers struck out nine while not allowing a run over 7 1/3 innings against the Reds on August 10.

Myers allowed three runs over five innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Giants.  He has not had a win over his last six starts and is seriously due here.

The series between these two teams has been lopsided in the Brewers favor.

Cincinnati starts Brandon Williamson, who is being activated off the 60-day injury list.

Padres @ Rays

Tampa Bay Rays career statistics vs. Dylan Cease are just .186.  They have 8 hits in a decent sized sampling of 48 at bats.  Yandy Diaz has gone 3-for-6 against Cease, so he bears paying attention to.

Cease allowed four earned runs over 4 1/3 innings pitched in Tuesday’s win over the Cardinals.

Ryan Pepiot struck out six while allowing five runs — two earned — in six innings to pick up a loss to the Rays on Monday.  He had a win in his prior start.

One should be careful here as the Rays bullpen is pitching well of late.
