The Nationals vs. Phillies betting line had Philadelphia as a -102 home favorite with Cole Hamels as the starting pitcher.

Hamels has enjoyed great success versus Washington hitters.  He recorded a quality start in all four of his outings against Washington last season and is 15-8 with a 2.63 ERA lifetime versus the Nationals.

Hamels will also be looking to make amends for a catastrophic opener against Boston in which he allowed four home runs - all solo shots.

Doug Fister will start for the Nationals.  He had a spectacular season in 2014, 16-6, 2.41 ERA.

Six of ten games in this series last year went UNDER the current total of 6.5.  Washington is yet to score more than 3 runs this season.  Philadelphia has scored 0,4,2 and 4 to start 2015.

Gotta love the UNDER 6.5 in this one.
