The Cleveland Guardians are one of the better teams in the MLB currently.  They consistently win 60% of their games and are definitely a team to consider when preparing to place your MLB bets for the day.

@ Blue Jays Starting Carlos Carrasco

(June 15, 2024) - Cleveland has won six of the last seven games against the Blue Jays.

Though Carlos Carrasco has only faced five of the current Blue Jays players, they have a combined 47 at bats against him and Carrasco is .213.

This is still not the best spot to grab the Guardians as Carrasco has pitched a limited number of innings his last few starts without a win.

Should this turn into a bullpen game, that does shift the advantage to Cleveland.

@ Blue Jays Starting Ben Lively

(June 15, 2024) - Guardians manager Stephen Vogt told reporters Ben Lively (undisclosed) is on track to make his next start from an undisclosed injury. And that is slated to happen on Sunday.

Guardians Power Rankings

(June 15, 2024) - "Jose Ramirez remains on a ridiculous RBI pace, with 62 through the team's first 65 games. (He played in 64 of them.) That's a 155-RBI pace over 162 games, with the most recent 150-RBI season coming from Alex Rodriguez with 156 for the Yankees in 2007. The last players with even 140 RBIs were Prince Fielder and Ryan Howard in 2009, each with 141. Ramirez obviously has been great with runners in scoring position, as 12 of his 18 home runs have come with runners on base. But it also helps that Cleveland has more of an old-school offense, without much power in the top two spots in the lineup, creating more RBI opportunities for him. -- David Schoenfield, ESPN.com

Braves-Yankees Series Betting Odds

Atlanta will enter this series 6-4 over the last ten versus the Yankees dating back to 2020.  But Friday's and Saturday's games really seem to favor New York early.

Willie Mays Dead at 93

Mays' death comes two days before the Giants are set to face off against the St. Louis Cardinals at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama, in a game honoring Mays and the Negro Leagues as a whole.
