Manager Ryan Vavruska shared his perspective ahead of their opener against Pennsylvania on July 14:

“I hope our bats are on fire like they were when we played Iowa and when we played North Dakota. Extra runs that you can get to take the pressure off of the pitching staff is very important, but the guys that are going to toe the rubber tomorrow… they’re going to be ready. These guys haven’t presided [sic] a lot of nerves since we got here. It’s baseball as usual, and they’ve really showed it out at practice, in the cages, and the moment hasn’t been too big for any given one of them so far.”
