Pirates @ Cubs

Chicago Cubs SP Jameson Taillon was beat up bad by Atlanta his last start.  Before that, Taillon posted a 1.13 ERA and .88, with three outings at home in Wrigley Field.  He's going up a Pittsburgh Pirates team that is the second least productive lineup in the league while fanning the fifth most facing righties.

These Pirates have nine hits off Taillon in 55 appearances.  Jack Suwinski has caused the most damage, hitting all three home runs off of Taillon and 4 of 5 at bats (.800).  But he's just hitting .168 this season with three home runs.

Mitch Keller (3.93, 4-3) starts for Pittsburgh. He has been beat up badly by the Cubs in his career, allowing 24 hits in 79 at bats against these Cubs including 12 RBI's (.304).

Keller tossed six shutout innings, recorded seven strikeouts and picked up the win in the Pirates’ 8-6 victory over the Brewers on Monday.

Before that, he pitched his second-career complete game on Monday and picked up his third win of the season against the Angels.

These two teams have mostly split wins and losses but Chicago does have an edge here at -127.
