Toronto Blue Jays Bookie Guide, Sports Betting Outlook
Gambling911.com has your Toronto Blue Jays bookie guide and the current sports betting outlook.
As of June 16, bookies serving the Toronto area, including much of Ontario, were not having the best season so far with the Blue Jays at 37-31.
Toronto is 11-3 in the last 14 meetings with Philadelphia.
The Raptors Probable Starting Pitchers:
JA Happ - (7-3, 3.70) THURSDAY JUNE 16 - Happ (7-3) allowed eight hits and four earned runs in seven innings in Saturday's 11-6 victory over the Orioles. He struck out five. (Sat Jun 11).
Aaron Sanchez (6-1, 3.38) FRIDAY JUNE 17 - Manager John Gibbons has made it clear that Sanchez will be moving to the bullpen sometime during the second half as he approaches his innings limit, with Drew Hutchison replacing him. He had a rocky start against Baltimore his last appearance allowing six runs.
RA Dickey (4-7, 4.16) SATURDAY JUNE 18 - Dickey (4-7) gave up three runs on five hits with two walks and four strikeouts over 6.1 innings in Monday's loss to the Phillies. (Mon Jun 13). He’s allowed no more than three runs in his last four starts. Dickey has only permitted 30 hits on 135 at bats versus the current Baltimore roster. Baltimore’s scheduled starter Yovani Gallardo has allowed just 20 hits on 103 at bats versus the current Blue Jays hitters, making this a great UNDER opportunity.
Marcus Stroman (6-2, 4.76) SUNDAY JUNE 19 – Stroman has allowed six or more runs in half of his last six starts and is coming off a win in his last start. Five of the last six games he has started in have resulted in double digit runs. He has allowed 18 hits off of 60 at bats as well as four home runs versus the current Orioles starters. Baltimore’s Chris Tillman, also coming off a win, has struggled against the Blue Jays current starters.
Ways for Toronto’s bookies to reduce their losses in 2016:
*Provide your players with live in-play betting through use of a proven offshore Pay Per Head provider such as Gambling911.com endorsed PerHead.com.
*Let your players bet futures for the Blue Jay’s to win the 2016 World Series. The odds of this happening are slim. But a few diehards will put money on it happening just as long as you are willing to take their bet.
*Trust the Pay Per Head linesmakers. You may find a line for a particular starting pitcher a little too attractive to sports bettors but there may be a reason behind this (Pitcher A past performance versus a particular team or left-handers).
*Encourage other forms of gambling such as player prop bets, parlays and totals wagering.
