White Sox-Brewers Game Postponed, Suspended: What Happens to My Bet?
Rain is expected to persist for much of the time in which the White Sox-Brewers game is slated to be played. It's possible the game could be delayed until the rain lets up. As of Friday evening, that is not supposed to occur until around some time after 7 pm.
The Brewers are 7-1 in the last eight of this series and Milwaukee certainly had some value as a -144 home favorite.
Robert Gasser threw six shutout innings and got the no-decision in the Brewers’ 5-1 victory over the Cubs on Monday. In his prior start, Gasser allowed five runs (four earned) over six innings against the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision. He had a win before that.
Gasser is 2-0 with a 1.96 ERA.
Garrett Crochet (5-5, 3.68 ERA) will start for the White Sox.
Crochet allowed two runs on three hits over six innings in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday. He did strike out 11 and walked one but the two-run homer did some serious damage.
He pitched six scoreless innings while striking out four in the White Sox’ win over the Blue Jays. That marked his second straight victory.
Coming into Friday night's game the White Sox had lost nine straight. Milwaukee had won six of their last nine.
