So many of the top cappers have a play on the Philadelphia Phillies Sunday evening and we were eyeing this one for a number of days.

If you watched the Cards-Phillies game on Fox Saturday, it's easy to understand why Philadelphia is a team that could end up in the World Series.  There was little stressing out backing the Phillies, as we did, even with a very solid starter in Sonny Gray pitching for St. Louis.  Well, a little luck in that Gray had a rare rough day... at least by his standards.

Today all eyes on Taijuan Walker.  He's 3-1 with a 5.51 ERA but, best of all, he's coming off a loss against the Giants on Monday.

Walker allowed nine hits, two walks and struck out four. He completed six innings for the fourth time in six starts this year, but the five earned runs allowed increased his ERA to 5.51.   Coming into this game, Walker has not won any of his last three starts and, in theory at least, should be at his extreme best in this start at home against Arizona.

Of course there is going to be a price to pay as the Cardinals are just 25-27 on the season thus far.  The good news is we really haven't seen the Cardinals price longer than +180 this season outside of the first three road appearances facing the LA Dodgers, so it is possible this one will come under -180 for Philly.

Walker has only allowed two home runs in 77 appearances against this current Cards roster.

We really like Philly, but Sundays haven't always been good to us so take that for what it's worth.
