Will the Orioles-White Sox Game Be Postponed on May 26: What Happens to My Bet?

Things are not looking good for the Orioles-White Sox game Sunday as strong storms will be in and around the Chicago area Sunday afternoon.  It is possible this game will be played in its entirety but we will have to keep our fingers crossed.

Chicago has a 10-17 record in home games and a 15-38 record overall. The White Sox are 12-6 in games when they have more hits than their opponents.

Baltimore has a 32-18 record overall and a 15-8 record on the road. Orioles pitchers have a collective 3.36 ERA, which ranks fifth in the AL.

The matchup Sunday is the fourth meeting between these teams this season.

Know the Rules When Games Are Suspended, Postponed

The Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals suspended their game Tuesday night after a rainstorm rolled over Busch Stadium ahead of the bottom of the sixth inning. They plan to resume the contest, which was tied 1-1 when the grounds crew rolled out the tarp, at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday and play their series finale 30 minutes after.

Sportsbooks have different rules on suspended games just like they do for postponements. Most books may keep the bet active if the game is going to be resumed within 24 to 36 hours.

With DraftKings, for example, Bets on games suspended after they have started will have action as long as the game is resumed within 36 hours of the original start time.

Yankees @ Padres

New York does have value coming into this game against the Padres as a -126 favorite.

They will play well offensively in this game because they’ve had a lot of success when facing right-handers and Musgrove has struggled on the mound, giving up 11 runs in his last three starts. He gave up 12 runs in his last three home starts and will have a hard time slowing down New York’s hot bats."

Schmidt allowed two earned runs and four hits over five innings in the Yankees’ loss to the Mariners.  We do like a situations where a solid pitcher is coming off a loss.
