(Gambling911.com Fantasy Sports Wire) – Dodgers starting pitcher Zach Greinke has extended his scoreless streak to 43 2/3 innings with striking a season-high 11 through the eighth and leading Los Angeles to a 5-0 victory over Washington on Sunday.

For Daily Fantasy Sports players and gamblers alike, Greinke should be able to extend that streak even further on Friday if history has any say in the matter.

The Dodgers starter holds a .214 ERA over the next team he faces, the New York Mets.  He’ll take on the Mets Friday, a team that has only hit 30 of 140 at bats against him with just four homeruns.

Greinke's string is the longest in the majors since Orel Hershiser set the major league record of 59 shutout innings in 1988 with the Dodgers. – Dan Shapiro, Gambling911.com
