Tennessee was a -8 ½ favorite against Ohio.
Kansas was a -11 ½ favorite vs. Northern Iowa.
Baylor was a -4 favorite vs. Old Dominion.
Washington was a -1 ½ favorite against New Mexico.
Kansas State was a -4 ½ favorite vs. BYU.
Kentucky was a -9 ½ favorite against Wake Forest.
A few of these underdogs stunned their higher seeded opponents on Thursday.
One of the biggest upsets was Old Dominion beating Notre Dame by a single point. Old Dominion was 11th-seeded while Notre Dame was 6th-seeded.
Number 13-seeded Murray State shocked number 4-seeded Vanderbilt.
Number 10-seeded Saint Mary's crushed the number 7-seeded darling Richmond.
With 80 percent of the public backing, number 9-seeded Northern Iowa knocked off number 8-seeded UNLV.
Number 11-seeded Washington beat up number 6-seeded Marquette. It's interesting that Washington comes into Saturday's game as the small favorite against a New Mexico team seeded at number 3.
Number 9-seeded Wake Forest managed to squeak by number 8-seeded Texas.
