2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament Odds

Unlike Thursday, nearly all the top-seeded teams got the job done with only a few exceptions as of press time.  2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament odds were available from SportsInteraction.com for Saturday's games.

Villanova was a -4 ½ favorite vs. Saint Mary's.

Butler was a -4 ½ favorite against Murray State.

Tennessee was a -8 ½ favorite against Ohio.

Kansas was a -11 ½ favorite vs. Northern Iowa.

Baylor was a -4 favorite vs. Old Dominion.

Washington was a -1 ½ favorite against New Mexico.

Kansas State was a -4 ½ favorite vs. BYU.

Kentucky was a -9 ½ favorite against Wake Forest.

A few of these underdogs stunned their higher seeded opponents on Thursday.

One of the biggest upsets was Old Dominion beating Notre Dame by a single point.  Old Dominion was 11th-seeded while Notre Dame was 6th-seeded.

Number 13-seeded Murray State shocked number 4-seeded Vanderbilt.

Number 10-seeded Saint Mary's crushed the number 7-seeded darling Richmond.

With 80 percent of the public backing, number 9-seeded Northern Iowa knocked off number 8-seeded UNLV.

Number 11-seeded Washington beat up number 6-seeded Marquette.  It's interesting that Washington comes into Saturday's game as the small favorite against a New Mexico team seeded at number 3.

Number 9-seeded Wake Forest managed to squeak by number 8-seeded Texas.

The Boston Celtics shipped Kristaps Porziņgis and Jrue Holiday this week, shedding a ton of payroll, but they could offload even more if a trade partner for Jaylen Brown emerges.
