2011 NCAA Basketball Lines

2011 NCAA Basketball lines were available for Missouri vs. Cincinnati, Old Dominion vs. Butler, and Bucknell vs. UConn.  These games were being played in Washington, DC March 17 as part of the First Round.  All lines were courtesy of betED.com, which was offering a huge incentive to join:  $250 on every deposit.  Mention bonus code:  GAMBLING911

The Missouri Tigers have earned a third-straight NCAA Tournament bid under Head Coach Mike Anderson and come into this game as a number 11 seed against the 6th-seeded Cincinnati Bearcats.

Despite being an 11th seed, Missouri comes into their Tournament game as a 1-point favorite against Cincinnati.   Gambling911.com was pretty “off” in its earlier prediction that oddsmakers would make the Bearcats a -4 or greater favorite.

“They can go out on a high note knowing that they have helped rebuild a great, storied program,” Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin said of his seniors. “They should feel really proud of that.”

Old Dominion vs. Butler featured a line of Monarches -1.

“Gambling911.com got this right on the money,” said Don Shapiro, head sports columnist for the site.

Our earlier prediction:  “Butler (8) vs. Old Dominion (9) – Old Dominion is the better team here and they should be favored by -1 to -2 points. “

Other 2011 NCAA Basketball lines for the DC games included UConn at -11.

When the notification came across the phone from Shams Charania that the Milwaukee Bucks had signed Myles Turner to a four-year contract, initial instinct was there must be more because the Bucks can’t fit him under the salary cap as a free agent.
