2011 NIT Tournament brackets and betting odds were to be released around the same time as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament brackets (shortly after 8 pm ET), though probably somewhat later as the oddsmakers at Bookmaker.com scramble to make NCAA Basketball odds top priority.

Last year, NIT tournament betting was generating tremendous interest

The 2011 National Invitation Tournament is a single-elimination tournament of 32 NCAA Division I teams that are not selected to participated in the 2011 NCAA Tournament.   The 74th annual tournament will begin March 15 on campus sites and end on March 31 at Madison Square Garden in New York City

"While all the online sportsbooks will be scrambling to get up odds on the 2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament, the poor NIT Tournament has seemingly been forgotten by many of them," said Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Not all books online will offer 2011 NIT Tournament betting odds.  Bookmaker.com is the oldest established North American online sportsbook and they will most certainly be offering odds on this tournament.

Gambling911.com was anticipating banner traffic for both tournaments.
