DaleySports.com has revealed that, of the 50 US states, only one is backing the Miami Heat.  Care to guess which state that might be?

Well, of course, we are talking about Florida.

All other states are rooting for the San Antonio Spurs, according to ESPN social media expert Kaitee Daley.  That’s right, the USA is officially Spurs Nation over the next two weeks or so.

Sports bettors, however, are liking the Miami Heat to win yet another championship.  They come into this year’s NBA Finals as the reigning champions.  These two teams met last year in the Finals.

63% of those betting the series futures are backing Miami at +112 odds but this could have something to do with the price considering San Antonio is the favorite at -132.

Is it a love for San Antonio or a deep resentment of the Miami Heat?

James Williams of SportsTalkFlorida.com explains:

Make no mistake about it, nationally the Spurs are the favorite of the fans over the star studded, ego driven Heat led by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Meanwhile, those who bet on the games for a living like the Heat to with their third title in four straight appearances in the NBA Finals.
