76ers vs. Knicks Round 1 Playoff Series Betting Preview

The Philadelphia 76ers are suddenly one of the more dangerous teams in this year's playoffs as they are nearly 100 percent back to full health.  At times during this season, the Sixers resembled a bottom feeder team.  They come into the playoffs having won nine straight games.

Philadelphia clinched the seventh seed Wednesday night by coming back from a 12-point halftime deficit to edge the Miami Heat 105-104 in a play-in game while the Knicks earned the second seed in the Eastern Conference after going 50-32.

Jalen Brunson is averaging 28.7 points and 6.7 assists for the Knicks.  His scoring prop total for Game 1 of the series was much higher at 31.5

"Playoffs in the Garden? It’s gonna be surreal," Brunson told fans this week. "We know you guys are gonna be rockin’ at another level. But the most important thing we have to do is just literally focus on taking it one day at a time, and that’s a message we’re all trying to convey to each other, from the top down — coaches to the players, to everyone."

Donte DiVincenzo is averaging 20 points and 1.5 steals over the last 10 games.

Tyrese Maxey is averaging 25.9 points and 6.2 assists for the 76ers.  Maxey's scoring prop total was listed at over/under 22.5 for Game 1.

Buddy Hield is averaging 2.2 made 3-pointers over the last 10 games.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
