Absolutely LINsane! Houston Rockets Odds to Win 2013 Western Conference Still 30-1

It’s official, Jeremy Lin is coming to the Houston Rockets and their odds to win the 2013 Western Conference remained at 30-1, essentially meaning that Lin hasn’t had any impact on the Rockets betting value.

That’s a far cry from the time last season when the Knicks odds of winning the Eastern Conference were more than slashed in half at the height of what media called “Linsanity”.

Lin’s departure was followed by the Knicks most recent addition, Jason Kidd, being arrested for a DWI over the weekend.  Ouch!  Kidd crashed his SUV into a tree while driving in Long Island’s enclave of the Hamptons. 

A law-enforcement source described the alleged boozed-up baller — who has a history of domestic-abuse and anger-management issues — as having cheated death by “just a few feet”, according to a New York Post report
