Arkansas vs. Baylor Betting Trends

  • Davonte Davis hit a short jumper with 2.9 seconds left, and Arkansas advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in 26 years with a 72-70 win over Oral Roberts in the South Region semifinals Saturday night.
  • Arkansas is a very good team but they are not the best three-point shooters.
  • Baylor overcame some frigid outside shooting Saturday to move into the Elite Eight, getting 16 points from Adam Flagler in a 62-51 victory over Villanova and its amoeba-like defense.
  • Heading into the tournament, the bears had just two defeats that followed an extended Covid quarantine.  After routing 16th-seeded Hartford 79-55, the Bears easily handled ninth-seeded Wisconsin 76-63.
  • Baylor's suffocating defense forced 14 turnovers against a methodical Wisconsin offense and turned them into 16 points.
  • When Baylor totals more than 66.7 points, it is 24-1 overall and 22-0 against the spread.
