For those of you who place your March Madness bet or make your office pool picks based on what the President of the United States has to offer, Gambling911.com can now reveal that President Barack Obama has picked Michigan State to win the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. Michigan State pays 6-1 odds to win the Championship at Sportsbook.com.
You know there is Madness when ESPN broadcasts a President filling in his brackets.
He predicted the number-four seeded Michigan State will beat 2013 winner Louisville in the championship game.
"I think Michigan State is playing in as tough a conference as there is," Mr. Obama told ESPN's Andy Katz as he used a marker to fill in his bracket on a large white board. "Bring it home for me - it's been a while since I've won my pool."
The US President also revealed he believes that both number one seeds Arizona and Florida will make it to the Final Four.
The president conceded in the interview that his picks were not "imaginative." But, he added, "I think they're the right ones."
Obama was right in predicting that Louisville would play in the Championship but wrongly predicted that Indiana would win it.
