Big 10 Tournament Odds 2010

Big 10 Tournament odds for 2010 were being updated at Sportsbetting.com (see website here) but these were the odds just days ago, prior to the recent action:

Odds to win the 2010 Big 10 Conference Tournament:

Ohio State 7/4

Michigan State 3/2

Wisconsin 3/1

Purdue 5/1

Illinois 15/1

Minnesota 20/1

Northwestern 50/1

Michigan 50/1

Field 25/1

That 50/1 longshot Michigan managed to beat ninth-seeded Iowa 59-52 on Thursday in the first round of the Big Ten tournament. It's the third year in a row the Wolverines have knocked off the Hawkeyes.  The Iowa loss has resulted in speculation that Iowa coach Todd Lickliter would be stepping down.

The fifth-ranked Buckeyes look to strengthen their case for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA when they face eighth-seeded Michigan in a quarterfinal game on Friday.

Ohio State and Michigan State Big 10 Tournament odds for 2010 were 7/4 and 3/2, respectively, essentially sharing the favorite status.

The Boston Celtics shipped Kristaps Porziņgis and Jrue Holiday this week, shedding a ton of payroll, but they could offload even more if a trade partner for Jaylen Brown emerges.
