60% of the bets in the Game 3 NBA Playoffs matchup between Boston and Philadelphia were coming in on the Celtics at +9.  Books had mostly moved off the Philadelphia -9.5 to as low as -8.5.  Any hold at -9.5 or a move upwards and we would be all over the 76ers.  Right now we would be treading cautiously as there doesn't appear to be any significant opinion one way or another as to which side will win this game.

The Celtics are up 2-0 in this Playoffs series and have covered the spread in eight of their last ten games overall, thus giving independent bookies fits.

And to think that Boston is not 100 percent healthy.

It should be noted that Boston is 5-1 Against The Spread in the last 6 meetings between these two teams as well.

The NBA Betting Power Ratings do indicate Philadelphia should only be a -3 favorite here so there is a significant overlay.  This is often something we stay clear of and will do so here in order to try and maintain our solid NBA picks record.

Boston area bookies best be using a Pay Per Head software platform as a means to reduce costs and to prevent more substantial losses through LIVE IN-PLAY WAGERING and the offering of casino games.
