Bookie vs. Bettor: Warriors vs. Spurs

The Warriors were seeing around 80% of the early action as a -4 road favorite in their Game 3 Playoffs matchup versus the Spurs.  The NBA Betting Power Ratings indicate a line of Golden State -2.

The line on this game has moved from -3 to -4.5 overall, suggesting that the books are fearful of a Warriors cover.

This number could be moving based on expected news that Gregg Popovich will not be coaching Thursday night.

His wife, Erin, died Wednesday from a long illness.

Spurs assistant coach Ettore Messina will fill in for Popovich against the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State has won nine of the last ten in this series.

We will not have a play here.
