Bookies: Jayhawks See Only 8th Win This Season

The Kansas Jayhawks are now 3-1 Against The Spread as a rare underdog this season after defeating Baylor on the road.  Bookies have been thriving with Kansas even with their 24-3 record Straight Up.  That’s because, until Saturday at least, the Jayhawks ATS record was an atrocious 7-16-1.

Saturday’s two-point victory could be the start of a shift towards balancing the Jayhawks ATS record with reality, although recent history might suggest otherwise.

“We still say bet against Kansas,” says Gambling911.com sports pundit Don Shapiro.  “That’s because the Jayhawks have yet to put a string of ATS wins together this season.”

He adds that “the win over Baylor was hardly done with an exclamation mark”.

And here’s some more food for thought: The next four teams KU faces they failed to cover in each of the most recent meetings despite Straight Up wins.

Kevin Durant Trade Impact on the Odds

It’s crazy to think that Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, four first round picks and a pick swap for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th overall pick and five future second round picks.
