Just days ago the Boston Celtics odds of winning the 2012 NBA Championship were set at 15/1 at WagerWeb.com.  After all, this was a banged up team that hardly looked as impressive as Western challengers the San Antonio Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder, not to mention the Miami Heat in the East.

Boston absolutely dismantled the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night and now lead the series 3-2.  Odds to win the NBA Championship were to be updated on May 22

Two of three big trends worked in this game.  The home team had won 8 out of 10 while the OVER was 5-1 in this series (the total for this game was 173.5).  The Celtics were 4-17 Against The Spread in their last 21 playoff games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5.
