Can The Heat Win 13 Straight? -6.5 in Brooklyn Friday Night
The Miami Heat, who this week broke the record for longest win streak for a team under the .500 mark, are looking to win their 13th straight game in Brooklyn Friday night.
During this 12 game win streak, bettors have won all but 11 of those with another game considered a push. Sports Bettors would be up $1100 right now had they bet $100 on Miami each time over this stretch.
The Heat are also looking to own the longest win streak of the season. They are currently tied with Golden State with the twelve straight victories.
Miami is a -6.5 road favorite in New York Friday night and recent history bodes well for the Heat. They are 6-0 Against The Spread in the last six meetings in Brooklyn, each of which was an outright win. They have won nine of the last ten games Straight Up in this series.
"I'm not going to talk about the streak," Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra said following the beatdown of Milwaukee Wednesday night. "It's more about a group of players coming together to form an identity as a team and embrace each other, embrace a culture, embrace defending with a purpose."
