Chris Kaman a Fantasy ‘Must Start’ for Daily Players: Priced at $4.4K

Fantasy players should be all over Portland’s Chris Kaman Thursday night versus the Miami Heat.  At $4400, he’s a steal.

He had 30 Fantasy points in just 27 minutes in his first start against the Lakers the other night.  Blazers coach Terry Stotts hopes to play Chris Kaman 12-13 minutes per half on Thursday with Robin Lopez and Joel Freeland injured.

Miami, a +8 underdog in Portland, is weak in the interior and that bodes well for Kaman.

Portland is 27-8 on the season so far, paying out to bettors in 20 of their 35 games. Miami is five games under .500.

The Heat are 4-1 in this series.

Update: Not Bad: Chris Kaman played for 21 minutes against the Heat on Thursday with 10 points, nine rebounds and two blocks.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
