The underdogs managed to go 2-0-1 in the NBA Playoffs First Round Wednesday night, brining the dogs record to 23-11-3 so far in 2011.  Thursday night we have the Lakers as -5.5 favorites vs. the New Orleans Hornets, the Magic were just -1.5 favorites against the Atlanta Hawks and The Trailblazers were at -4 vs. Dallas.  All these odds were courtesy of SBG Global

Some great stats to consider before betting on Thursday night’s NBA Playoffs First Round games:

Atlanta has covered 8 of the last 9 in this series with the exception of the last game.  Orlando is looking at a possible elimination in the First Round.

The Hornets are 2-10 Against The Spread in their last 12 playoff games as an underdog of 5.0-10.5.

The home team has won the last 9 in the series between Portland and Dallas, however, the Mavs have won 4 of the last 5 Against The Spread while another game pushed.
