Final Four Odds: Michigan State vs. Butler Line

Final Four odds for 2010 Michigan State vs. Butler opened at Spartans -2 at Bookmaker.com Sunday afternoon.

Tom Izzo led Michigan State to the Final Four for the sixth time in the last 12 years, but the Spartans' four wins in the NCAA tournament have come by a combined 13 points and their win on Sunday against Tennessee was by a single point, thus allowing the Vols to cover for sports bettors.

Izzo, who took over from longtime mentor Jud Heathcote for the 1995-96 season, is 6-1 in the regional finals. The only loss was to top-seeded Texas in 2003.

Durrell Summers led all scorers with 21 points on 8-for-10 shooting. Summers has 66 points on 25-for-39 shooting (64.1 percent) in the tournament.

Butler advances to its first Final Four in school history, becoming the first No. 5 seed to reach that stage since Michigan State in 2005.

The Bulldogs will play the Final Four five miles from their campus.
