The George Mason vs. Ohio State line was listed at -11 favoring the Buckeyes for Sunday’s Third Round game of the 2011 NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament.  80 percent of those betting the spread were backing the Buckeyes.  80 percent were on the UNDER 135.5 total as well.

George Mason will have its work cut out as Ohio State comes into this game the overall number one seed of the tournament.

"Lots of people disrespect us, say we're going to lose and stuff" said George Mason guard Andre Cornelius. "I don't care about being the underdog. I just want to make a statement. I just want to come out there and beat them and shut everybody up."

This is a team that made it all the way to the semi-finals in 2006 as one of the biggest underdogs.  They eventually got knocked off by Florida.  George Mason has won 17 of its last 18 games.

They will be playing a team that has only lost two games the entire season.

Ohio State dismantled UT-San Antonio on Friday by a score of 75-46.

William Buford led a balanced attack for Ohio State with 18 points while Jared Sullinger had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Buckeyes, who shot 56.9 percent from the field and made 12-of-24 from 3-point range.  Together with number one seeds Pittsburgh and Duke, the three have beaten their respective opponents by a combined margin of 84 points.

Ohio State entered the tournament as 4/1 favorites to win.  Now the question remains:  Can any team beat the Buckeyes?

"Well, I don't know about unbeatable," guard David Lighty said. "But it's awful hard to beat us when the offensive weapons that we have are all clicking at the same time."

Gambling911.com has determined that the line on this game is fairly accurate based on mathematical formulations.
