Both these teams only have 4 losses apiece on the season to date.  Syracuse has won the last two games in this series while Georgetown was victorious in the two previous meetings.  Syracuse failed to cover earlier in the month on the road against the Hoyas in a game that went into OT.  Last year’s Orange win would have been considered a push based on the current spread.

There’s a reason why the public is backing Georgetown so heavily in this February 23, 2013 matchup.  They are 10-1 Against The Spread overall this season.  They are also 18-6 ATS against the Big East and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

The Orange are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600.
