Memphis was the only underdog to lose outright on Saturday with three other teams managing to stun their respective favored opponents.

The Grizzlies had a horrible first half shooting against the Thunder, making just 12-of-48 shots from the field. That field goal percentage of 25% was a franchise-low for Memphis in any half.

This combined with the Grizzlies missing their first 18 shots from outside the paint.

The Thunder outscored the Grizzlies 23-3 outside the paint in the first half, making up most of Memphis' 22-point halftime deficit.

Memphis has its work cut out for them as only five 8 seeds have defeated a number 1 seed since the NBA went to a 16-team playoff format during the 1983-84 season.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
