Heat Celtics Game 4 Line for Eastern Conference Finals Opens Miami -1

With Boston cutting the series lead to 2-1 Miami, oddmakers offered the Heat Celtics overnight line at Miami -1 for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.  The Heat-Celtics were a PICK’EM earlier in the day Saturday at BetOnline, which was offering up to $900 in FREE CASH to qualified new signups.

Boston beat the Heat decisively by 101-91 on Friday night.  At one point the Celtics led by as much as 24 points.

"You're trying to fight back the whole time," said Miami’s LeBron James, who scored 16 points in the first quarter but just four with one rebound and one assist in the fourth. "We made a run but it was too much."

We anticipate this line moving more in favor of Miami since over 80 percent of the betting public were backing the Heat spread.

The trends suggest Boston can cover the 1-point line easily on Sunday.  Boston is 9-2 Against The Spread at home versus Miami over the last 3 seasons and is 10-1 Straight Up against Miami over the last 3 seasons.

To make matters worse (or better if you happen to be backing Boston), the Celtics are 12-3 Against The Spread on Sundays.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
