The Cyclones are one of the 10 most efficient offenses in the country, a group that spreads the floor, plays as many as five guards at a time, shoots a ton of 3s and carves even good defenses up. But the Buckeyes may be the best perimeter defense in the country.
Stat to watch: Iowa State's 3-point shooting. If the Cyclones are making 3s, as they did in their blowout first-round win over Notre Dame, the Cyclones can score to keep up with anybody, even if they aren't guarding particularly well. If they don't make 3s, they can really struggle.
