Sports Interaction betting analyst Frank Doyle looks at the best College Basketball matchups of the weekend, including Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt, and offers his free College Basketball picks.

Kentucky's visit to Vanderbilt is the highlight of the weekend college basketball action with Sports Interaction. College Gameday was at Lexington last Saturday and I guess they can't feature Kentucky two weeks in a row but I think the Wildcats visit to Vanderbilt will be special.

Vanderbilt lost to Kentucky at Rupp Arena nearly three weeks ago but the Commodores did a better job containing John Wall in that game than most teams have this year and maybe that will stand to them on Saturday. Vandy won three out of four since that loss in Kentucky and are a dangerous team to visit. The fact that that one loss was at Georgia is a source of concern, but I like Vandy to cover as a home dog with Sports Interaction when Kentucky visits Nashville on Saturday.

The Big Ten has been a really quality conference to watch this year and there's a really good matchup on Saturday in West Lafayette when Illinois visits Purdue. The Fighting Illini hit a hot run of form until they got upended at home by Ohio State but a team that beat Michigan State and Wisconsin should not be taken lightly by the Boilermakers.

Way out West, ESPN have chosen to broadcast College Gameday from Seattle for UCLA's visit to the Huskies. The Pac 10 is having a down year this year but Washington could be an educated bet because the line on UCLA will be inflated by the Bruins' past glories, rather than current form.

The real value in the west will probably be in the WCC, where Gonzaga will be a road favorite at Pepperdine and deservedly so. The ‘Zags' loss at San Francisco, their first in 28 WCC regular season games, only seems to have ticked them off, as they've smushed everybody they've faced since. The Bulldogs to bite hard with Sports Interaction at Pepperdine.

On Sunday, we have the mouth watering prospect of Villanova at Pittsburgh. The Big East is the best conference in basketball now, not alone in terms of quality but also in terms of depth. All those confrontations are quality encounters. Villanova was stunned by Connecticut at the start of the week but the Cats will bounce back at Pittsburgh.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
