The Lafayette vs. Villanova betting line was coming in at -23 Wildcats. Villanova is listed with 10-1 odds of winning the NCAA National Championship. 

Lafayette makes 41.4 percent of their 3s, second-most in Division I and could give number 1 seed Villanova a run for its money.

But the Wildcats are a team to be reckoned with.   The Big East was the third-best league in college basketball this season, and Villanova had little trouble tearing through it.
