March Madness 2011 Betting: Odds to Win NCAA Championship

As we inch closer to one of the busiest betting periods of the year, March Madness, SBG Global was still offering odds to win the 2011 NCAA Championship

Single digit favorites included Duke at +400 paying $400 on every $100 bet, Kansas paying $500 for every $100 bet, Ohio State paying $450 for every $100 bet and Texas paying $600.

Perhaps one of the best value teams to win is BYU, promising a payout of $2000 for every $100 bet at SBG Global.  They are currently ranked number 3 just behind Ohio State and Kansas.

March Madness 2011 betting enthusiast might also want to look closely at Pittsburgh potentially paying out $1000 for every $10 bet. They were ranked number 5.

Gambling911.com also noted that, even though San Diego State is ranked in the top 10, odds on the Aztecs appear within in the “field” category as San Diego is not specifically mentioned.

Here were all your odds to win the 2011 NCAA Championship:

+1000 means that a $100 bet pays out $1000 while a $10 bet would pay out $100.  +2000 means that a $100 bet pays out $2000 and a $10 bet pays $200, and so on.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
