Bookmaker.eu, the leader in sports betting since 1985, will be offering its biggest March Madness Bracket Contest ever for 2012, one that will pay $50,000 in prizes

Bookmaker is billing this as a “March Madness Bracket Contest You Can’t Lose”.  That’s because the bottom rung of the contest pool will receive 50 bet points, which amounts to some free online wagering

The top cash prize is $10,000 with $5000 cash awarded to second place and $2500 awarded to third place.

In order to receive an entry, contestants must open an online betting account with US$300 or more.  Every $300 deposit earns a FREE ENTRY into the contest.  Remember that a $300 deposit is not a payment as this is money you will be betting with and, unless you end up losing your wagers, this money can grow into something much bigger.

This is a point system March Madness Bracket Contest.  Contestants must pick the winners of the 63 games in the 2012 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship Tournament. Points will be awarded for each correct pick. Entries must be completed online before the contest deadline on March 15, 2012. Once the bracket has been submitted, it is final.  *Bracket picks cannot be changed once the bracket has been submitted. Games will be graded and the bracket updated at the end of each round.

Note: Only active players are eligible to receive any prize money. An active player is defined as having at least $300 worth of sports wagers as of the end of Round 3 (March 18, 2012). Contestants who fail to meet this requirement will only be awarded 10% of the listed cash prize amount only.
