March Madness Expert Brackets, Predictions, Odds to Win Championship - UVA

We have the latest odds of winning the NCAA Men's College Basketball Championship as well as some expert predictions regarding the Virginia Cavaliers winning it all below.

Matt Norlander, CBS Sports Senior Basketball Writer - "The NCAA Tournament is a fickle, fun, unforgiving beast. Its best feature, and most intimidating one, is do-or-die element. Because of this, I don't always pick the team I think is best to win the national title. But I am going with Virginia. I think Virginia is the best team in college basketball. It has size, strength, length, discipline and is the toughest team to score on. Tony Bennett is about to have a career-changing next three weeks."

Virginia was coming in at 5/1 odds for a potential payout of $500 on every $100 bet.

Ryan Connors of Landof10.com - Bracket prediction 1: Virginia and Villanova will meet in the National Championship

Again, Villanova and Virginia have been the best two teams in college basketball this season, and I feel pretty comfortable taking them as my two championship finalists. Virginia can score (21st in offensive efficiency, per KenPom) and has the best defense in the country. It’s time for Tony Bennett’s team to quiet the haters and bring home a March Madness title. Or at least, I really, really want them to.

They were the No. 1 team in the land entering last weekend's successful run to the ACC tourney title because they have followed Tony Bennett's simple, yet proven, recipe for success -- value each possession, pass up a good shot to share the ball with a teammate who has a better one, shoot the 3-ball effectively, and play defense or sit next to me.

"Charlottesville is home to arguably the nation's best coach in Bennett, the country's most impenetrable defense (52.8 PPG allowed), and four of the ACC's best players: sophomore guards Guy and Jerome, both of whom have net-snapping jumpers and aren't afraid to use them; senior do-it-all guard Hall, who fills up the stat sheet on a nightly basis; and 6-7 senior Wilkins, a rabid defender who leads the Cavaliers in blocked shots and rebounding."

Nick Birdsong of Sports News - He notes that Virginia is limiting teams to 53.4 a contest, thus ensuring their victory.
