The Michigan State odds to win the 2012 NCAA Championship were just shy of 7 to 1.  These odds are subject to change so Gambling911.com suggests locking these prices in now here.  All Sweet 16 betting odds were available at Sportsbook.com here

Michigan State is viewed as a well-coached team that many have picked to win the Championship.  The Spartans just narrowly got away with a win against St. Louis on Sunday, however.

Keith Appling hit a critical three-pointer with just 1:34 left, all but sealing the win.

In the second half, Michigan State shot 61.9 percent in the half court during its win against Saint Louis. It was the second-straight second half that the Spartans shot over 60 percent in the half court.

Against Louisville, they are a -4.5 point favorite.
