Most of the betting for Day 2 of the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament was going towards two big games on opposite ends of the time clock:  The 12:30 pm EST showdown of Minnesota U vs. Xavier and the late night battle between Louisville and California.

The later game was not necessarily lopsided whereas both sides were getting significant action, however, Louisville did enjoy a 65/35 advantage.  In fact, California was the 9th most bet on team at Sportsbook.com Thursday night (see website here).  Xavier was a little more lopsided, getting 70 percent of the action.

Texas A&M and Temple were two other teams getting solid action heading into Friday.

Siena was also a favorite among public bettors, ranking around the #5 most bet on team for Friday.

The betting public did not fare well on Thursday.  Notre Dame lost outright as the single most wagered on team of the tournament thus far.
