NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Picks, Salaries, Betting Lines for February 2

Gambling911.com has your NBA Daily Fantasy Sports picks, salaries and betting lines below.  Updated odds can be found at Skybook here.

Cleveland is playing the way they were expected to be performing coming into this season as the favorite to win the 2015 NBA Championship.  They are currently riding a 10-game win streak and, this evening, face the hapless Philadelphia 76ers as a -16.5 favorite.  While Philadelphia beat Cleveland back in early January, the two previous meetings were Cavaliers blowouts and the same can be expected here as Cleveland will look to exact some revenge.  We don’t recommend starting any of the Cavs in your Fantasy roster this evening.

Kyle Korver (Atlanta) - $5600 – We continue where we left off last week by staying on the Kyle Korver bandwagon.  Drawing a favorable matchup vs. Eric Gordon and the Pelicans, he should be able to rack up 20 or more Fantasy points again this evening just as he has each of his last four appearances.

Marc Gasol (Memphis) - $8600 – Averaging around 32 Fantasy points per night, Gasol could rise above this number versus a Suns team who have the worst time defending against centers as opposed to all other positions.  They give up the 9th most Fantasy points to centers in fact and Gasol ranks among the best of them.

Blake Griffin (LA Clippers) - $9600 – The Nets have allowed the 7th most Fantasy points to opposing power forwards this season.  Griffin has scored 42 or more Fantasy points in six of his last nine starts.

Monta Ellis (Dallas) - $7800 - Rajon Rondo is out, creating more opportunities for Ellis.  The T-Wolves have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to shooting guards this season.  The series trend here is for Minnesota to play Dallas well for two games then get blown out in the next two.  If that trend were to continue, it might actually be the T-Wolves night.  Ellis’ performance is contingent on his minutes in the 4th quarter.  A blowout would likely reduce his chances of securing the required 32 plus Fantasy points needed to make value.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
